Work at Tikehau Capital

Supporting employee development

The Group’s talent management policy revolves around a range of complementary initiatives: ongoing career development discussions, training, mobility opportunities and attractive compensation and benefits that enable employees to plan for the long term.

The important thing to keep in mind within a rapidly expanding group driven by a strong entrepreneurial culture is to uphold the simplicity and authenticity of discussions while consciously avoiding the gradual entrapment of standardised mindsets.

Emmanuelle Costa

Head of Human Capital

Tikehau University gave me a better understanding of the links between the Group’s various departments, the significance of each role, and the value of collaborating and exchanging ideas. This, in turn, expands the realm of possibilities by highlighting the potential for cross-functional interactions and opportunities for internal mobility.

Malibida N’Gani

Financial Controller

I began my journey at Tikehau Capital as an intern in 2015. Following my sales experience with various client typologies, I now hold the position of Co-Head of the Private Wealth Solutions department, specializing in serving private clients and family offices. Tikehau Capital has provided me with opportunities to swiftly assume independent roles and daily responsibilities. This environment enables me to continually enhance my expertise and advance professionally.

Célia Hamoum

Co-Head of Private Wealth Solutions

I started at Tikehau Capital in 2016 as a Marketing Analyst based in our Paris office and I currently serve as Head of Tikehau Capital's Private Debt Secondaries business, based in our New York office. Mobility and agility are values that drive the firm and its culture; you are strongly encouraged to go further, to take the lead on an initiative, and to make a full contribution to the business.

Graduate Programme

An 18-month journey through Tikehau Capital.

Designed for graduates wishing to join Tikehau Capital, the Graduate Programme is structured around three six-month rotations within the Group’s various areas of expertise, both within France and the Group’s other international offices. After onboarding, participants receive specific training and mentoring. When the programme ends, they have the potential opportunity to join one of our teams.

Tikehau Capital’s Graduate Programme provides a valuable opportunity to enhance your professional career.

Selected Graduate Analysts are chosen to take part in several six-month rotations across different teams, allowing them to broaden their scope of work, gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's operations, and acquire essential skills applicable to their careers.

We aim to provide our Graduate Analysts with a visible learning curve, exposure and an opportunity to develop an internal network.

Tikehau Capital University

Broaden your horizons within the Group.

Since 2021, Tikehau Capital University has been welcoming junior staff and new arrivals from our 15 offices, businesses and functions.

Tikehau Capital University is an annual event that spans a week of training, encompassing a wide range of technical, financial and soft skills, aimed at accelerating the development of junior professionals.

The objective of the university is to support our junior employees in expanding their professional network, gaining a deeper understanding of the intricacies of Tikehau Capital's operations, engaging with senior personnel, and embracing the dynamic company culture.

Tikehau Capital Sustainability University

The Tikehau Capital Sustainability University is a platform for all employees. It is dedicated to environmental, social and governance (ESG) training programmes. To have a fully integrated approach to sustainability, we need to upskill all teams, businesses and functions in order to embed ESG risks, opportunities and measurement in their day-to-day roles. In addition, to support and accelerate Tikehau Capital’s sustainability-themed and impact platform around climate, nature & biodiversity, cybersecurity and resilience, it is vital to build tailored knowledge and develop best practice.

As a company, we believe that we are responsible for allocating capital to support sustainable development in the real economy. Following this conviction, we have established the Tikehau Sustainability University. This educational platform, launched in 2022, is regularly populated with training programmes that cover environmental, social and governance (ESG) related topics, including mandatory training courses focused on ESG regulation and climate & biodiversity. To reinforce this approach, the company has developed training programmes tailored to specific job functions. We aim to upskill all employees within the Group, enabling them to have a positive impact on EGS related topics and supporting them in integrating ESG criteria in their respective roles.

Diversity and inclusion

Gender balance as a performance driver.

Promoting diversity within our teams naturally involves gender balance. Management has set a target of 30% women Managing Directors and Executive Directors by the end of 2027. The “Women@Tikehau Capital” network, which supports the career development of promising profiles and identifies any obstacles or biases that might hinder their progress, plays a crucial role in achieving this goal.

Diversity & Inclusion

Diversity has always been a part of our DNA and a source of our strength. The company’s most important investment lies in its employees, who form the foundation of our growth.

We recognise that diversity encompasses gender, race, nationality, age, culture, ethnicity, physical abilities, religious and political beliefs, and other attributes.

Inclusion encompasses a variety of practices that ensure equal acceptance, treatment and appreciation of all individuals, regardless of their background.

Learning & Development

In a fast-growing company like Tikehau Capital, continuous learning is crucial for success. This is why our company is dedicated to providing the best learning experience to its employees.

The Learning & Development team aims to equip employees with the skills and knowledge to thrive and grow in their roles, ensuring they stay up to date with industry regulations, improve their skills, and gain confident in their abilities.

Every employee plays a proactive role in their career development plan, in collaboration with the Management and the Human Capital department. Employees participate in annual campaigns dedicated to discussing their career prospects and mobility projects, enabling them to define their skill development plan.

We're not afraid to break down silos. In addition to technical skills, we place a premium on emotional intelligence and soft skills, and you need to be willing to step out of your comfort zone.

Benefits

The company is committed to providing competitive benefits coverage for all its employees worldwide. This includes, but is not limited to, the following benefits:

  • Health insurance
  • Life, Accident & Disability
  • Pension Scheme
  • Parental leave (including maternity, paternity & adoption leave)
  • Quality of life and parental support through a dedicated platform
  • Mobility facilitation benefits (including eco-friendly options, such as bikes or public transport)
  • Individual support during challenging life circumstances
  • Other country-specific benefits

The benefits scope varies in each country and depends on the local legislation.

To support teams daily by contributing to their well-being, the company launched an Annual Quality of Work Life Awareness Week that takes place annually.
